The COM-HPC Server Base is an extended ATX size COM-HPC Server Type reference carrier board based on PICMG COM-HPC Revision 1.0. Together with the COM-HPC Server Type module of your choice and off the shelf add-on cards, you can quickly emulate the functionality of your desired end product for software development and hardware verification.

Rugged, versatile, economic – the SRP-3201-BLUBOXX series of miniature CompactPCI® PlusIO IPC systems from EKF is suitable for all industrial requirements, even under harsh conditions. The small rack is built of high-quality 19-inch components. With its low dimensions of only 172mm x 168mm x 208mm (4U/32HP), the BLUBOXX provides space for up to five CompactPCI® boards. The system slot in the middle of the hybrid backplane complies with the CompactPCI® PlusIO specification. A suitable CPU Card such as the PC4-PRESTO controls two slots for CompactPCI® classic 32-bit cards to the left, and another two CompactPCI® Serial slots on the right side.

CompactPCI® PlusIO (PICMG® 2.30) is an enhancement over CompactPCI® classic with respect to the system slot backplane connector J2, which provides high speed serial I/O, to be combined with modern CompactPCI® Serial peripheral cards across a hybrid backplane.
CompactPCI® Serial (CPCI-S.0) is a PICMG® open standard for modular industrial computers, which is based on PCI Express®, SATA, USB, and Gigabit Ethernet over the backplane.

The BLUBOXX systems include a bottom mount fan unit and an industrial grade removable power supply.

The HEITEC HeiPac Vario VM-A CPCI-S is a 4U vertical-mount chassis that holds up to nine 3U slots at a 0.8” pitch. The modular card guides can be adjusted to allow 1.0” pitch or other spacing in .2” increments. The standard PSU is a fixed 400W ATX, but other options are available. Conduction-cooled card guides are also available for testing and development. The chassis is 84HP wide.

The HeiPac Vario VM-A CPCI-S has various power and backplane configuration options. Consult HEITEC for off-the-shelf options and tailored configurations.
