aTCA backplane ECTF H.110 Variant RSR

Features:
– Conforms to PICMG 2.0 R 3.0, PICMG 2.1 R 1.0, PICMG 2.5 R 1.0
– System slot right
– Front of the backplane supports IEEE 1101.10-compliant boards
– Rear of the backplane supports IEEE 1101.11-compliant transition cards
– RSR backplanes have the capability to support various external devises such as supplemental cooling fans and I/O hardware
– RSR backplane series was developed for systems using a cPCI-CPU which does not support the CT bus on the J4 connector
– Pins of rows A to E of the P4 connector in the system slot are not connected to the backplane and available to the CPU board for rear I/O applications
– In keeping with the cPCI specification, rows Z and F of the system slot P4 connector are connected to the logical GND layer.

Specifications:
– Variant RSR:
– P4 on system slot has rear panel I/O assignments
– 3.3V (I/O), 33 MHz, 3 to 8 slots
– 3.3 V(I/O), 66 MHz, 3 to 8 slots
– 5 V(I/O), 33 MHz, 3 to 8 slots

– Variant RSN:
– P4 on system slot is not assembled
– 3.3V (I/O), 33 MHz, 3 to 8 slots
– 3.3 V(I/O), 66 MHz, 3 to 8 slots
– 5 V(I/O), 33 MHz, 3 to 8 slots

ATCA Backplanes – Mesh

The Elma Bustronic Mesh AdvancedTCA (ATCA) backplanes are compliant to the PICMG 3.0 Rev.1.0 specification. The experts in high-speed differential pair routing, Elma Bustronic’s ATCA backplanes have been simulated and characterized by our signal integrity lab to optimize performance.
The 2-slot ATCA is a switchless 2X Replicated Mesh with point-to-point links between the slots. However, a 1X Mesh can be implemented on the 2-slot. The 5-slot and 6-slot are a 3X Replicated Mesh. However, Dual Star, 1X and 2X Meshes can all be implemented across the 5-slot backplane. The 14 and 16-slot mesh backplanes have standard 1X full mesh topologies.

FEATURES:
– Compliant to PICMG 3.0 Rev. 1.0 specification
– Gigabyte/Terabyte per second bandwidth per shelf
– Connections to IPM Sentry shelf manager
– Controlled impedance stripline design
– Mesh Topology – (dual star and 1X, 2X, 3X Mesh topologies are implementable)
– Pluggable shelf manager slots using MicroTCA.0 connectors

ATCA Backplanes – Dual Star

The Elma Bustronic 14-slot Dual Star AdvancedTCA (ATCA) backplanes are compliant to the PICMG 3.0 Rev.1.0 specification. The experts in high-speed differential pair routing, Elma Bustronic’s ATCA backplanes have been simulated and characterized by our signal integrity lab to optimize performance.
The EasyPlug version is fully pluggable, offering hot-swappability “everywhere”, saving cabling time and money, and reducing mean-time-to-repair (MTTR). These 7U backplanes feature pluggable connectors beneath the card cage area for fan trays, power entry modules, shelf managers, etc. Just like the 5U version, there is approximately 3U of space above the backplane in Zone 3 for rear transition modules.

FEATURES:
– Compliant to PICMG 3.0 Rev. 1.0 specification
– Gigabyte/Terabyte per second bandwidth per shelf
– Connections to IPM Sentry shelf manager
– EasyPlug and standard versions available
– 18 layer controlled impedance stripline design
– Fourteen slot Dual Star topology – 2 Fabric slots, 12 node slots
– Dual shelf manager connectors in slot 0, allows full 14 slots
