6U CompactPCI Pentium® M SBC CPC501

Overview
CPC501 is a high performance 6U CompactPCI CPU card designed for various applications such as telecom, factory automation, transportation, aerospace.
The board is based on Intel® Pentium® M processor up to 1.8 GHz and supports up to 1Gb of DDR SDRAM with ECC.
Intel 855GME/ICH4 chipset incorporates a lot of functions, lowering cost and providing high reliability.
CPC501 has 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, which can be flexibly configured for front or rear panel, or PICMG 2.16 backplane and one Fast Ethernet port.
The board is fully compatible with PICMG 2.16 specification, thus providing capability to build robust redundant systems.
Hot swap support, hardware monitor and watchdog timer makes CPC501 suitable for mission critical applications.
32 MB solid-state disk is soldered onboard, thus providing non-volatile storage for system configurations without removable disks.
CPC501 can be ordered with PMC support (CPC501-01) or with 2.5″ HDD direct mounting feature (CPC501-02).
There are RS-485 COM-ports for connection to remote equipment.
The board is produced in two versions – for industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) and for commercial temperature range (0°C to +70°C).

CPC503 6U CompactPCI CPU module is an embedded computer on x86 platform
for use in server or client systems for a wide range of applications. CPC503 is based
on 2-nd generation Intel Core i7 (2/4 cores) processors operating at frequencies
from 1.5 to 2.2 GHz and on QM67 Peripheral Controller Hub.
Up to 8 GB of DDR3 SDRAM memory with ECC operating at 1333 MHz is soldered
onboard the CPC503.
CPC503 graphics capabilities include VGA, Displayport, DVI, and LVDS interfaces.
Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are used for networking.
Interface set of CPC503 also includes 12 USB 2.0 ports, four SATA channels, audio
interface and standard J1-J5 CompactPCI connectors at the rear edge of the board.
Fastwel CPC503 supports one XMC/PMC expansion module mounted onboard and
specially designed Fastwel RIO587 rear I/O module. CPC503 provides one 64-bit 66
MHz CompactPCI interface with hot swap capability. The module interfaces with
CompactPCI bus via the built-in PCI-E <-> PCI bridge, this allows using CPC503
either as master system controller or as a slave device in one PCI bus segment.
One of the features of CPC503 is support for PICMG CompactPCI Packet Switching
Backplane Specification version 2.16. Being installed on a backplane supporting the
packet switching mode, CPC503 can communicate with peripheral devices or with
the system master board supporting this mode via two Gigabit Ethernet ports.
The components of CPC503 are carefully selected according to the criteria of applicability
in embedded systems and long-term availability on the market. This makes
this module an ideal device, based on which the systems with long life cycle can be
built.
CPC503 is compatible with Windows 7, QNX 6.5.0, VxWorks 6.8 (on request), and
Linux® 2.6 operating systems.

The CP6003-RA/RC, a CompactPCI PICMG 2.16 compliant 6U CPU board, comes with various rugged levels, making it yet another addition to Kontron’s rugged PICMG 2.16 portfolio.
Based on the Intel® Core i7 second generation processor and the QM67 platform controller hub, the CP6003-RA/RC is featured by dual or quad core computing performance at a reasonable thermal design power, including a complete set of data, communication and multimedia interfaces.
The CP6003-RA version is designed for harsh application requirements in air-cooled environments, where the CP6003-RC is made for conduction cooled environments.
With the 2.1 GHz Intel® Core i7-2715QE and the LV 2.2 GHz Intel® Corei7-2655LE, the CP6003-RA/RC has extraordinary performance per watt values. Up to 16 GByte of soldered DDR3 1333 MHz memory with ECC provide the foundation of demanding software applications.
Based on the Intel® Mobile QM67 I/O controller hub the CP6003-RA/RC provides high graphics performance for VGA and two independent digital video outputs to the rear I/O as well as HDA audio capabilities.
Besides the outstanding graphics performance, the CP6003-RA/RC offers comprehensive I/O capability with up to 5x 1Gb Ethernet, 4 x rear I/O SATA with RAID 0/1/5/10 functionality, a local SATA Flash disk connector, as well as 6x USB 2.0, 2 x COM.
It can also accommodate a conduction cooled PMC/XMC slot for I/O intensive applications.
The board provides safety and security via an optional trusted platform module, (TPM 1.2), two redundant firmware hubs (failover) and IPMI support according PICMG 2.9 R1.0.
