PCOM-B655VGL is the 10th Generation Intel® Comet Lake-S platform COM Express module. It is compatible with COMe 3.0 Type 6 carrier board. The desktop CPU on module offers customers higher computing power but lower cost comparing to mobile solutions. PCOM-B655VGL supports both ECC and Non-ECC DDR4 by different PCH SKUs (Q470E/W480E), which can be adapted to different applications. This module provides one PCIe x16, eight PCIe x1 (Option to one PCIe x4), four USB 3.1 Gen2, and four SATA III.

Portwell’s PCOM-B656VGL is designed with latest 11th generation Intel® Core™ processor (Codenamed Tiger Lake-UP3) and integrated Xe graphics,optimized computing performance and faster graphics performance with the support of DDR4 memory, one PCIe Gen 4 x4, one PCIe Gen 3 x4, one PCIe Gen 3 x1, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, two SATA III, and four displays.

PCOM-B656VGL is compatible with COM Express 3.0 Type 6 carrier board. Customer can easily and quickly test the new COMe module with Portwell’s carrier boards and develop application. Portwell is also able to provide services to the custom carrier board design, development and manufacture.

ADLINK cExpress-AR, featuring the new AMD Ryzen™ V2000 APU with its high performance integrated Radeon™ graphics, is the first Type 6 module on the market to support an octa-core (8-core) embedded SoC, with up to 16 threads and an impressive turbo boost up to 4.2 GHz. Compared to earlier embedded quad-core V1000 processors, the additional cores combined with AMD’s Zen 2 architecture result in a more than two-fold performance increase and double the performance-per-watt efficiency.

ADLINK’s cExpress-AR provides standard support for up to 64GB DDR4 in two SO-DIMMs. ECC error correction based on selected SKUs and configurable TDP (down to 10W), while still offering 6 to 8 cores and passive cooling, make it well suited for mission critical application in harsh environments.

With integrated new generation AMD Radeon Vega graphics, the cExpress-AR supports up to four independent 4K displays via DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI and LVDS. The cExpress-AR, offers a range of high speed interfaces, including 2.5GbE Ethernet, 6 PCIe x1 Gen3 and 1 PCIe x8 Gen2 (configurable), and 4x USB 3.2 ports. These features are fully compatible with the COM Express Rev. 3 specification, allowing for existing systems to upgrade and gain in performance without changing the carrier design.
