AMC593

The AMC593 provides a very capable I/O processing engine, with a large UltraScale FPGA coupled to two FMC sites and supported by an on-board quad-core processor. Withover 5,500 DSP slices and supported by 8 GB of DDR4 (32-bits wide over two banks), the XCKU115 connects to all FMC LA/HA/HB pairs, balancing high-speed I/O with impressiveprocessing power. The AMC593 is compliant to the AMC.1, AMC.2 and/or AMC.4 specification, and supports direct AMC-to-AMC connections over ports 12-15 and 17-20.

The dual FMC sites accept FMCs from VadaTech’s extensive range of data acquisition, networking and RF units, and other 3rd party VITA-57 compliant modules. The quad core P2040 on-board host has 4x PCIe interface to the FPGA in addition to its local bus, and is supported by DDR3, Boot Flash and a SD Card. The user can select whether to route ports 0 and 1 of the AMC to the PPC or FPGA.

The AMC593 has Serial over LAN (SOL) per IPMI specification, with a hardware RNG for secure session.

AMC592

The AMC592 is an AMC FPGA Carrier with an FMC (VITA 57) interface. The unit has an on-board, re-configurable UltraScale FPGA which interfaces directly to the AMC FCLKA, TCLKA-D, FMC DP0-9 and all FMC LA/HA/HB pairs. The FPGA has interface to three banks of DDR4 memory channels. This allows for large buffer sizes to be stored during processing as well as for queuing the data to the host.

The AMC592 is compliant to the AMC.1, AMC.2 and/or AMC.4 specification, and supports direct AMC-to-AMC connections over ports 12-15 and 17-20.

The AMC592 has a single FMC connector to accept FMCs from VadaTech’s extensive range of data acquisition, networking and RF units, and other 3rd party VITA-57 compliant modules.

AMC525

The AMC524 provides a Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) capable of generating a frequency agile analog sinusoidal waveform (up to 1.0 GHz). The chipset includes a PLL for clock cleaning, along with a versatile internal timing and control mechanism. The unit supports fast frequency hopping and a linear sweep mode of frequency, phase or amplitude.

The AMC ports 0-15 are all routed to the FPGA from the AMC connector, providing the user with flexibility to support standard base and fabric interface or custom high-bandwidth interconnects (depending on backplane capabilities). The FPGA is supported by 1 GB FLASH memory for boot image storage and dual banks of DDR3 for local data storage.

TCLK A-D and FCLK are routed to the FPGA via an on-board clock and jitter cleaner. The module supports internal or external clocking. The modules allows for RF Clock synthesis for the DAC and the ADC to come from the front panel or from the on-board wideband PLL.

The AMC524 is available in both air-cooled (MTCA.0 and MTCA.1) and rugged conduction cooled (MTCA.2 or MTCA.3) versions.
