NAMC-8569-CPU

The NAMC-8596-CPU is a multi-service CPU board in Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC)form factor with the following key features:
– Latest Freescale PowerQUICC® III MPC8569 processor with dual Multichannel Communication Controller (MCC)and higher core frequency than predecessor PowerQUICC III processors
– DDR2 SDRAM 1GB, NAND-Flash 2GB
– Lattice FPGA with up to 70.000 logic cells
– Interfaces at front panel such as 2x Gigabit Ethernet (GbE)and USB port and RS232; optional user defined IO via sub module and optional TDM connectivity
– Backplane connections such as 2x Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), Serial Rapid IO (SRIO), PCI Express® (PCIe)
– TDM and I-TDM with 125 μs and 1 ms I-TDM modes as well as TDM cross-connect supported customizeable I/O mezzanines

Flexibility, high-bandwidth and low latency processing dedicate the NAMC-8569-CPU for applications in (tele-)communication, medical, industrial automation, defense&aerospace and telecommunication market.

One or both GbE interfaces can be switched or multiplexed towards the CPU and the backplane.

Depending on the required throughput one Fat Pipe (PCIe or SRIO) or the combination of both Fat Pipes (PCIe and SRIO) is available to the backplane. Thus, the NAMC-8569-CPU is targeting at applications where IO boards need PCIe and where low latency of SRIO for multiprocessing is requested.

AMC-V7-2C6678

The AMC-V7-2C6678 is a high performance DSP/FPGA card. It is powered by the latest Texas Instruments TMS320C6678 multicore DSPs plus a Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA. The module also provides fast, flexible I/O including Serial RapidIO (SRIO), Gigabit Ethernet and PCI Express. It is ideal for a range of high performance DSP/FPGA processing applications including telecoms and image processing.

The AMC-V7-2C6678 includes a high density XC7VX415T-2 Virtex-7 FPGA as standard, with other FPGA options available on request. Virtex-7 FPGAs provide high DSP performance and I/O bandwidth, with best-in-class total power consumption that is 50% less than the previous generation.

The board includes a single front panel SFP+ optical interface that links directly to the FPGA, plus a single mini-SAS connector linked to the SRIO switch. Should applications require timing and synchronisation, this is achieved via the front panel or backplane clock I/O, enabling the module to sync easily to other equipment.

AMC-V7-2C6670

The AMC-V7-2C6670 is a high performance DSP/FPGA card designed for wireless processing applications including 4G, LTE and LTE Advanced. There are two Texas Instruments TMS320C6670 multicore DSPs and a Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA.

An IDT CPS-1848 Gen2 SRIO switch provides off-board communications at up to 25Gbaud per port. Flexible high-speed optical links, suitable for a range of applications, are provided by three front panel SFP+ optical interfaces at up to 10.3 Gbaud, which link to either the FPGA or DSPs (specified at purchase).

The AMC-V7-2C6670 includes a high density XC7VX415T-2 Virtex-7 FPGA. Other FPGA options are available.

Should applications require timing and synchronisation, this is achieved via the front panel or backplane clock I/O, enabling the module to sync easily to other equipment.

Features include:
2 Texas Instruments TMS320C6670 DSPs each with 4 1.2GHz C66x cores
Xilinx Virtex-7 VX415T FPGA
3 SFP+ sockets connected to the FPGA GTH ports or optionally to the DSP AIF2 ports
Gen2 RapidIO infrastructure between DSPs, FPGA, front panel and AMC.4
Optional GPS receiver
Full Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure
Single width, full-size AMC card
