ADLINK’s Express-RLP COM Express Type 6 Basic size module is based on 13th Gen Intel® Core™ mobile processor and is the first COM Express utilizing Intel’s advanced hybrid architecture (with up to 6 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores) offered with industrial-grade option to provide superior performance for edge IoT innovations across varied power ranges — at 15W/28W/45W TDP.

The module provides support for PCIe 4.0 and DDR5 memory with up to 4800 MT/s, 4 display or USB4/TBT4 via DDI/LVDS, and features integrated Intel® Iris Xe graphics with up to 96EUs, allowing for instantaneous on-device AI performance.

Equipped with Intel® TCC (Time-Coordinated Computing) and TSN (Time Sensitive Networking) support, the Express-RLP ensures timely execution of deterministic, hard real-time workloads with ultra-low latency, making it well suited for mission-critical AIoT use cases, including industrial automation, AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot), autonomous driving, medical imaging, video broadcasting, and more.

It features Intel’s advanced hybrid architecture (with up to 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores) along with 16 PCIe Gen5 that provide superior performance with fewer lanes than its predecessors, allowing for simplified designs and reduced time to market to drive various AIoT deployments.

MIL-STD-1553 Eight-Channel Compact PCI Board

Multi-Standard Compact PCI Board for Avionics Interfaces Including
MIL-STD-1553, H009, WB-194, ARINC 429, Digital and Avionics Discrete I/Os, and RS-485 Applications

The Compact PCI HyperBoard is a multi-standard board that contains eight channels of MIL-STD-1553. The board is compatible with MIL-STD-1553B and MIL-STD-1760. Each channel can be configured independently to work with H009 and WB-194 in conjunction with MIL-STD-1553. Other protocols, like French DigiBus, are also available upon request.

The Compact PCI HyperBoard is based on proven MIL-STD-1553, H009 and WB-194 (WMUX) IP cores and transceivers. Prior to shipment, the board can be programmed to support various configurations and protocols using the exact same hardware. The cPCI board includes eight generic I/O pins that can be used as RS-422, RS-485, ARINC-429 (2 transmit and 2 receive channels) or eight avionics I/O ports. The board also includes eight digital I/O channels and IRIG-B time-tag input and output channels.

The Compact PCI HyperBoard can be used for onboard avionics systems and for lab testing equipment. The standard interface board is software-compatible with DDC® Enhanced Mini-ACE® components and architecture, enabling fast and easy integration with existing or new systems. Tester versions are available with capabilities such as RT Simulation, Multi-RT, Error Injection and more.

Software drivers for Windows and Linux, along with high-level API, are available to ease application development. This software includes an advanced GUI (Graphical User Interface) for controlling the board, generating MIL-STD-1553 traffic, monitoring and emulating a real bus environment.
