TCPS275 – 3U CompactPCI Serial XMC Module Carrier

The TCPS275 is a 3U CompactPCI Serial module that provides one slot for a single-width XMC module used to build modular, flexible and cost effective I/O solutions for all kinds of applications like process control, medical systems, telecommunication and traffic control.

The TCPS275 is a versatile solution to upgrade well known XMC I/O solutions to the CompactPCI Serial standard.

The PCI Express x4 link from the host board to the XMC module is enhanced by a PCIe Gen3 Redriver, allowing safe operation of XMC modules in distributed PCIe systems.

The TCPS275 supports XMC front panel I/O.

VPWR is 12 V for all variants.

TCPS892 – 4 Channel 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet

The TCPS892 is a 3U CompactPCI Serial module providing a four channel Ethernet 10Base-T / 100Base-TX / 1000Base-T interface.

The Intel I350 provides integrated PHYs that support 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s transmission rates and is equipped with a 1 Mbit Serial Flash to support PXE and iSCSI boot.

The four Ethernet interfaces of the TCPS892 are capable of performing an auto negotiation algorithm which allows both link-partners to determine the best link-parameters. The TCPS892 supports IEEE 1588/802.1AS Precision Time Protocol (PTP).

The controller is equipped with a 128 Kbit EEPROM storing configuration data. LEDs in the front panel indicate the different network activities.

All ports are galvanically isolated from the Ethernet controllers and are routed to the P3 rear I/O connector.

An accompanying CompactPCI Serial 3U Rear Board TCPS007-TM with reconstruction filters and four RJ45 connectors is available.

TCPS007-TM – Rear I/O Module for Quad 10/100/1000 Ethernet CPCI-S.0 Modules

The TCPS007-TM is a CompactPCI Serial compatible 3U rear I/O module that provides a four channel 10Base-T / 100Base-TX / 1000Base-T Ethernet interface.

The TCPS007-TM distributes the Ethernet signals of TEWS’ Gigabit Ethernet CPCI-S.0 modules with rear I/O to RJ-45 connectors located in the front panel of the module.

Impedance mismatches, caused by backplane connectors, lead to signal distortion of the Ethernet signals. To reduce these effects, the routing on the TCPS007-TM is optimized for differential Ethernet signals.

Additionally, common mode choke filters are placed into the Ethernet signal lines to improve signal quality by suppressing common mode noise on the Ethernet signal lines.

The operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C.
