XCalibur1700

The XCalibur1700 is a high-performance 6U CompactPCI single board, multiprocessing computer that is ideal for ruggedized systems requiring high bandwidth processing and low power consumption. With dual PowerPC e500 cores running at up to 1.2 GHz, the P2020 delivers enhanced performance and efficiency for today’s embedded computing applications.

The XCalibur1700 provides up to 8 GB DDR3-800 ECC SDRAM, two PrPMC/XMC slots, as well as 512 MB of NOR flash (with redundancy). The XCalibur1700 also supports three Gigabit Ethernet ports, I²C, PMC I/O, XMC I/O, and RS-232/422/485 serial ports out the front panel or J5 connector.

The XCalibur1700 is a powerful, feature-rich solution for the next generation of compute-intensive embedded applications. For customers seeking a lower power option the XCalibur1700 can be designed with the Freescale P1020 processor offering a reduction of approximately 7 W. Operating system support for Wind River VxWorks, Green Hills INTEGRITY-178, QNX Neutrino, and Linux is available.

AdRC-EXP1 – Subrack CompactPCI Express

The AdRC-EXP1 is a hybrid CompactPCI Express/
CompactPCI sub rack that allows mixing a CompactPCI Express CPU board with CompactPCI and CompactPCI Express peripheral boards in a seamless way.
The AdRC-EXP1 allows combinations with up to three CompactPCI Express-compatible peripheral boards (Type 2) and up to six CompactPCI-compatible peripheral boards.
When CompactPCI and CompactPCI Express boards are mixed, the optional A3EXP1565 bridge board must be installed.

cPCI-6530

The cPCI-6530 Series is a 6U CompactPCI® processor blade in single-slot (4HP) width form factor featuring enhanced graphics, computing power, energy efficiency, system manageability and data security provided by the 4th generation Intel® Core i7/i5 processor (4C/2C), and soldered and socket type DDR3L-1600 ECC memory up to 16GB. The cPCI-6530 offers outstanding performance and is an ideal solution for defense, aviation, transportation and industrial applications. 

The cPCI-6530 Series front panel I/O options include 1x DVI-I, 2x GbE and 2x USB 3.0 ports, 1x USB 2.0 port, 1x DB-9 COM port and 1x PCI/XMC slot for the cPCI-6530V, and 2x GbE and 1x USB 3.0 port and 1x USB 2.0 port and 2x PMC/XMC slots for the cPCI-6530. Graphics support is integrated on the CPU and supports 3 independent displays when mated with selected rear transition modules (cPCI-R6700 and cPCI-R6500). Storage for both cPCI-6530V and cPCI-6530 versions includes an mSATA slot and a SATA 7-pin connector. The cPCI-6530V supports an additional SATA connector to support onboard 2.5″ SATA drive or CFast adapter.

For expansion, both cPCI-6530 and cPCI-6530V are equipped with one 64-bit/33, 66,133MHz PMC site or one PCIe x8 Gen 2 XMC site with rear I/O. The cPCI-6530 is equipped with an additional PMC/XMC slot supporting PCI 64-bit/133MHz PMC site or one PCIe x8 Gen 2 XMC site. Rear I/O signals to the RTM include 2x GbE, 1x DVI-I, 1x PCIe x4 (configurable to 4x PCIe x1), 3x SATA 3 Gb/s, and 6x USB 2.0., 5x GPIO, high definition audio, KB/MS, and 2x serial ports (one supports Tx/Rx only). The PMC/XMC signals on the cPCI-6530 can also be routed to the RTM.

The cPCI-6530 Series offers outstanding performance provided by the 4th generation Intel® Core processor family. For applications requiring enhanced processing power, the CT-6530 can be mated with the cPCI-R65N0 RTM to provide accelerated processing using a CUDA GPGPU. The ADLINK cPCI-6530 Series provides high flexibility, supporting operation in peripheral slots with CompactPCI bus communication (Universal mode) and as a standalone computer if there is no CPU blade in the host slot. Internet remote manageability includes IPMI for system health monitoring over Internet and a GbE port on the faceplate supports Intel® AMT 9.0 for remote monitoring.
