Kontron CP-ASM3 is the standard family of completely integrated and pre-tested 3U & 4U CompactPCI card cages.

Supplied with an integrated power supply and backplane, these racks are designed to meet the requirements associated with rugged environments and varying ambience. Nearly every system requirement can be answered by the right variation of rack size, power supply, backplane, and fan option. Beyond this, any CompactPCI card cage can be offered on project request.

10U PICMG 2.16 compliant CompactPCI system

The CP-ASM10-PSB is an ideal solution for OEMs who require robust, cost-effective communication platforms. Equipped with a PICMG 2.16-compliant packet switching backplane with redundant hot-swap Ethernet switch cards, the CP-ASM10-PSB provides high performance and reliability. Use with Kontron´s PICMG2.16-compliant CompactPCI boards and this reliability will significantly increase.

CP-ASM1 Low Profile Rack

3 CompactPCI Slots at only 1U Hight

The 19″ card cage is the perfect low profile solution for horizontal mounting of 3U CompactPCI boards: A system controller, two peripheral boards, and rear I/O transition modules if needed.

The rack-mount housing with backplane and cooling fans is available with black outside coating (RAL9005), completely mounted, wired, and tested, with a 200 W Kontron power supply. Integrated cooling fans provide for air stream from CPU side to power supply side.

A shelf manager unit is provided as separate option.
