Fan Controller (12V version)

The Fan Controller (FanCon) is a platform independent system monitoring unit which monitors, and if applicable, controls parameters such as temperature and fan rotation speed of a basic system. The centerpiece is an 8-bit microcontroller with an integrated 10-bit A/D converter and a corresponding peripheral circuit.

The parameters are measured or read and evaluated in periodic cycles. An alarm is triggered if the temperature or fan rotation speed exceed or lie below the limit values. At the same time, the fans are controlled to maximum rotation speed.

The measured values are at all times retrievable via serial RS232 interface and I2C interface. During operation, limits and system parameters can be changed at all times via RS232 interface. An optional 2×16 character LCD-display for displaying the measured data can be connected.

Fan Controller (24V / 48V version)

The Fan Controller (FanCon) is a platform independent system monitoring unit which monitors and if applicable controls the parameters, such as temperature and fan rotation speed, of a basic system. The centrepiece is an 8-bit microcontroller with an integrated 10-bit A/D converter and a corresponding peripheral circuit.

These parameters will be measured or read in and evaluated in periodic cycles. An alarm is being triggered if the temperature or fan rotation speed exceed or lie below the limit values. At the same time the fans are controlled to maximum rotation speed.

The measured values are at all times retrievable via serial RS232 interface and I2C interface. During operation limits and system parameters can be changed at all times via RS232 interface. Optional it is possible to connect a 2×16 character LCD-display for displaying the measured data.

Electronic Load Board 3U CPCI-S (air cooled)

The 3U load boards are designed to simulate the power consumption of a single board computer and other boards on the backplane. With two coding switches on the front panel it is possible to set a constant current or load profile for +5V and +3,3V. For +12V and -12V the current will be set with two jumpers on the board. 4 green LEDs on the front panel display the voltages on the backplane and 2 yellow LEDs display the over temperature status and recording activity of thetemperature values. To monitor and record the board temperature, there are 2 temperature sensors located on the top and on the bottom of the load board. The recorded temperature values can be read out via serial USB interface located on the front panel.
