The National Instruments NI-8234 is a high-performance dual gigabit Ethernet interface for PXI Express/CompactPCI Express based on the Intel 82571EB gigabit Ethernet controller. The NI-8234 includes two gigabit ports within the single-slot PXI Express module, saving a slot in your PXI/CompactPCI system. By using 1000 Mb/s gigabit Ethernet, you gain a substantial performance increase over 100 Mb/s Fast Ethernet while your system remains completely compatible with 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet networks. The NI-8234 is compatible with Windows Vista/XP/2000/Me/NT/98 and LabVIEW Real-Time.

CP932 is a robust design of a 6 port Gigabit Ethernet Switch on a 3U CompactPCI board. The integrated NIC of CP932 is always connected to the master CPU. The five front panel RJ45 connections are all uplink capable. A five port version is also available for use in “non-CompactPCI” applications.

The CP3923 is a fully managed layer 2/3 Gigabit Ethernet switch offering IPv4/IPv6 routing and full management capabilities. It supports a powerful set of CLI, Telnet, Web and SNMP management interfaces to configure the entire set of protocols and parameters including Layer 2 and Layer 3 (IPv4/IPv6*) protocols, Multicasting, QoS and Security.
On top of that, the CP3923 maximizes the reliability of rugged COTS applications by supporting Intelligent Platform Management (IPMI) and hot swap capabilities.
Eight GbE ports to the rear and up to eight GbE to the front ensure highest connectivity capabilities. The CP3923 is available with three different front I/O versions:
Either with eight GbE ports via RJ45 (CP3923-8C) or for mobile- and transportation-oriented applications with four (CP3923-4M) or eight (CP3923-8M) Fast Ethernet ports via M12-D connectors.
For applications requiring outmost mechanical stabilitiy and reliability the CP3923 is also available as rugged, conductive-cooled version (CP3923-RC).
