XPand1301

The XPand1301 is a low-cost, flexible, development platform. This platform supports up to eight 0.8 in. or 1.0 in. pitch, air-cooled, CompactPCI modules. It provides 482 W of total simultaneous power, which can be distributed as up to 16 A on 12 V, up to 40 A on 5 V, and up to 20 A on 3.3 V. The XPand1301 can provide up to 20 CFM of air flow per slot.

X-ES platforms, including the XPand1301, are a feature-rich solution for system development. RTMs provide maximum I/O flexibility and rapid system prototyping. Power and reset LEDs indicate system status. The XPand1301 also features a momentary push button for reset, as well as a switch to enable DC power.

The XPand1301 is available for purchase in several rapid-development, standard configurations. Custom configurations of modules, RTMs, and backplanes are also available utilizing X-ES and third party components.

XTend3130

The XTend3130 is a 3U CompactPCI backplane with eight CompactPCI payload slots and two VITA 62 power supply slots. Slot one is the system controller slot and the other seven slots are peripheral slots. Power can be provided by installing a VITA 62 power module in one or both of the power supply slots or by cabling from a power supply.

XPm2000

The XPm2000 changes the rules on what can be done with a 3U power supply. The XPm2000 takes in a MIL-STD-704 28V-DC input voltage and provides up to 200 W on 3.3V, 5V, and ±12V at up to 90% efficiency. The XPm2000 also provides on card MIL-STD-461E EMI filtering.

An innovative hold-up design drastically reduces the size of the hold-up capacitance and allows the capacitor to be retained on-card while maintaining up to 110 ms of hold-up time. The XPm2000 also supports the use of external hold-up capacitors for providing additional hold-up time.

The XPm2000 fits in a 3U cPCI or VPX 1.0-in pitch slot. Up to 8.3 A on 12V, 2 A on -12V, 20 A on 5V, and 25 A on 3.3V can be supported on each rail, separately. The XPm2000 can provide up to a combined 200 W of total output power at maximum operating temperature. The XPm2000 can also be paired up with another XPm2000 for load sharing.
