XPedite5650

The XPedite5650 is a ruggedized COM Express module that complies with the COM Express Mini form factor (55 mm x 84 mm) and supports an enhanced Type 10 pinout. The ultra-small, standards-based, COM Express form factor brings processing to a wide range of applications. Available in both conduction- and air-cooled versions, the XPedite5650 supports the Freescale QorIQ P2041 processor. With four PowerPC e500mc cores running at up to 1.5 GHz, the P2041 delivers enhanced performance and efficiency for today’s network information processing and other embedded computing applications.

The XPedite5650 complements processor performance with 2 GB or 4 GB of up to DDR3-1333 ECC SDRAM. It also hosts numerous I/O ports, including one copper Gigabit Ethernet port, one SerDes Gigabit Ethernet port, a single x2 PCIe port, two x1 PCIe ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two SATA 3.0 Gb/s ports, two I²C ports, two serial ports, two SPI interfaces, and IEEE 1588 support.

The XPedite5650 provides a high-performance, feature-rich solution for current and future generations of embedded applications. Operating system support packages for the XPedite5650 include Wind River VxWorks, QNX Neutrino, LynuxWorks LynxOS, and Green Hills INTEGRITY-178 tuMP.

XPedite5550

The XPedite5550 is a ruggedized COM Express module that complies with the COM Express Compact form factor (95 mm x 95 mm) and supports an enhanced Type 5 pinout. COM Express provides a standards-based form factor to bring processing to a wide range of applications. Available in both conduction- and air-cooled versions, the XPedite5550 supports the Freescale QorIQ P2020 processor. With dual PowerPC e500v2 cores running at up to 1.2 GHz, the P2020 delivers enhanced performance and efficiency for today’s network information processing and other embedded computing applications.

The XPedite5550 complements processor performance with up to 8 GB of DDR3-800 ECC SDRAM. It also hosts numerous I/O ports, including three Gigabit Ethernet ports or three SerDes Ethernet ports, a single x2 PCIe port, a single x1 PCIe port, a single USB 2.0 port, two I²C ports, two serial ports, one SPI interface, IEEE 1588 support, and P2020 local bus.

The XPedite5550 provides a high-performance, feature-rich solution for current and future generations of embedded applications. For customers seeking lower overall power consumption, the XPedite5550 can be designed with the Freescale P1020 processor. Operating system support packages for the XPedite5550 include Wind River VxWorks, Green Hills INTEGRITY-178, and Linux 2.6.

XPand6103

The XPand6103 is a rugged and compact fanless embedded box PC utilizing the Intel® Core i7 Processor. The XPand6103 provides a reliable and maintenance-free, high-performance, computing platform ideally suited for environmentally challenging and space-constrained situations. It was specifically designed for rugged, yet processing-intensive, Industrial PC (IPC), vehicle, and rail transportation applications, and it provides an optimal solution for demanding autonomous vehicle computing requirements.

The XPand6103 supports the 3rd generation Intel® Core i7 processor by integrating the XPedite7450 rugged COM Express module. The internal 64 GB Slim SATA SSD memory module combines the convenience of high-capacity off-the-shelf storage with the reliability of solid-state non-volatile memory. The standard configuration includes DisplayPort++ video, two Gigabit Ethernet, USB, four CAN bus, and RS-232/422 ports. The system can also be configured to provide up to two 10 Gigabit Ethernet 10GBASE-T interfaces. With three internal PCI Express Mini Card slots and support for two external antennae, the XPand6103 can offer a flexible array of additional I/O options, including WLAN, cellular, and GPS.

The XPand6103 supports a wide input voltage range and complies with the power specifications of SAE J1455, EN50155, ISO-7637-2, MIL-STD-1275, and MIL-STD-704.

Through the implementation of an environmentally sealed and completely rugged design, the XPand6103 can operate under the most demanding IEC61373, EN50155, and MIL-STD-810 shock and vibration requirements, as well as the water-immersion requirements of IP67. The XPand6103 also supports operating temperatures from -40°C to +70°C ambient.
