T/AX-DSFPX is a low-cost single-width AdvancedMC module with two 10GbE LAN/WAN network SFP+ ports.
It is a valuable supplement to 10GbE/XAUI fabric switches in MicroTCA chassis and AdvancedTCA carrier board to extend the number of external 10GbE SFP+ ports and to provide Ethernet protocol conversion between AMC fat-pipe ports and front-panel SFP/SFP+ ports. The AMC interface supports 10GBASE-BX4 (XAUI) and 10GBASE-R/KR PCS on ports 4-7/8-11. The front-panel SFP/SFP+ uplink ports support 10GBASE-R and 1000BASE-X PCS with fiber length of up to 80km using SM fiber. Programmable swapping of front-panel uplink SFP+ ports, as well as secure communication and traffic statistics are supported. Complies PICMG AMC.0, AMC.2, MTCA.0 specifications.
